truly growing my "currently reading" list like nobody's business but I want to read all the books that have screenplays that will probably be nominated for best adapted screenplay this year (one probable nominee is a remake of a Korean film so I'll watch that as well but obvs that has nothing to do with goodreads)

it's funny because i've been complaining about historiographical surveys but i am enjoying this one (probably because of the general aura of the queen and her inaccessibility as a true person)

new favorite Emily Henry incoming i can tell

really loving this, a lot of implicit and explicit thoughts on power and its functionality which is something I have become really interested in, particularly as it relates to the american experiment which is discussed a lot in this book. still have 33% to go but think this will be a favorite of all time not just this year.
