Finished Chapter 3. The ancillary continues its mission and drags Seivarden Vendaai along. After renting a flier, they headed off. Not long later, the fuel ran out and the ancillary suspected sabotage. It carried Seivarden until another ship stopped them. After killing the would-be robbers, the ancillary took their ship and went to the place of Arilesperas Strigan, but she had already left.

Finished Chapter 2. The historical validity of the New Testament documents is without question more noteworthy of any other historical document over 1,000 years old. The earliest copy of New Testament writing comes from around 130 AD. from the Gospel of John. For most other historical writings, several centuries separate their original writing from their extant copies.

Notice that this statement clarifies gender as binary, marriage between a man and woman, and sex between a married couple for the sake of procreating. While God may love the person, He hates the sin we commit.

Finished Chapter 15. Read that all reasons that people justify abortion are wrong. It's wrong to kill a defenseless human being and that's just what abortion does. Location, viability, or wanting have no bearing on murder.

Finished Chapter 14. Many atheists believe that Christians believe in a 'God of the gaps' kind of thing. However, despite a few instances between power-hungry people and early scientists, Christianity blossomed science.

Finished Chapter 13. Read that ancient writers used hyperbole just like we do today. When God told the Israelites to utterly destroy the Canaanites, He was using hyperbolic language akin to a sportscaster saying that a team got annihilated.
Also, the word for slave in the Old Testament was ebed, which actually meant servant. The slaves in the Old Testament had rights and safeguards to protect them.

Finished Chapter 12. Read that although some today think it arrogant and unloving, Jesus is the only way to receive forgiveness. He said it Himself.

Finished Chapter 11. Many skeptics today say that Jesus never existed. However, many scholars and archeologists say that there is plenty of evidence proving Jesus' existence. Also, many skeptics say that Jesus never claimed to be God. This too has been shown to be false.

Finished Chapter 10. Read how objective morality is a false smokescreen IF God doesn't exist. Atheists try to explain morality due to naturalistic methods but can't do so adequately. Free Will doesn't exist in a naturalistic world.

Finished Chapter 9. Greg raises an Atheists objection with evil in the world. However, evil in the world is actually evidence FOR God instead of against God. If you think something is wrong, there is some standard you are judging against. The problem with relativism is that some cases of murder, rape, and other heinous crimes are justified since there would be no objective truth.

Finished Chapter 8. Greg shows us that belief in God is the simplest, most common sense explanation for the existence of the universe. Even Richard Dawkins says that things "appear to be designed". Things appear to be designed because they were designed... by God

Finished Chapter 7. Greg shows us that mischaractering the beliefs of others is wrong. We must also watch that others don't mischaracterize our beliefs. Asking questions not only can help get your definitions clear, but also can get your beliefs out front.

Finished Chapter 6. Greg explains that relativism is the first lie told by Satan. Inner truth is outclassing outer truth. What is true for you may not be true for me. Relativism is doing away with objective truth.

Finished Chapter 5. Greg tells us that Satan leads the forces of evil in an unseen battlefront against the forces of good. Once you start noticing little details like how some religions get treated differently than others, you'll know where Satan is working from.

Finished Chapter 4. Greg continues to reinforce the Columbo tactics. Using questions keeps you safe. The best ting to remember though is that when a person makes an assertion, the burden of proof is on them to prove it.

Finished Chapter 3. Greg introduces the 'Columbo' method of using questions to gain information yet not be burdened by having to reveal or defend your own views. This is useful for everyone, especially new or timid believers.

Finished Chapter 2. Mr. Koukl says that there are 2 types of Christians: Gardeners and Harvesters. Most want the joy of bringing people to Christ. However, we must remember that a people don't usually accept Christ the first time they hear about Him. A bit of work goes into getting a person Saved. Gardening is just as important, if not more, than harvesting.

Finished Chapter 1. Mr. Koukl outlines his plans for the reader to gain confidence in sharing the Gospel to others. He also explains that Apologetics is something someone must be trained in. Answering objections in a skilful manner takes some getting used to.

Finished the Epilogue. Dr. Schreiner summarizes his book. Justification is by faith alone and forensic,sinners are declared to be right by Jesus' death, His righteousness is imputed into us, and that works are necessary evidence of justification.

Finished Chapter 7. Dr. Schreiner shows us that while works aren't necessary TO GET Saved, they are evidence that someone IS Saved. This is where people see a discrepancy between Paul and James. However, if one puts their words in the proper context, then we see there is no real discrepancy.

Finished Chapter 6. Dr. Schreiner shows us that the terms for justification are forensic and not transformative. Christians are imputed with God's righteousness and declared justified.

Finished Chapter 5. Dr. Schreiner delves into what the rest of the New Testament says about Justification. What I found illuminating was his breakdown of the 'difference' between Paul and James. When carefully explained, there is no real difference, just a misunderstanding of terms.

Finished Chapter 4. Dr. Schreiner shows us that Justification is found through faith in Jesus Christ. His grace is imputed upon us and we are legally declared righteous. Works of the law cannot make us righteous.

Finished Chapter 2. Billy was tormented by wanting 2 hunting dogs. However, no matter how much he begged, his family couldn't afford them. His dad did get him some traps. Unfortunately, the only thing he seemed to catch is their nosey house cat, Sammie. During the winter, it was hunting season. Billy would listen to a hound baying. Still worrying about his son, dad said he'd let Billy help him farm.

Finished Chapter 1. The guy left his office and stumbled upon a dog fight. A bunch of dogs fighting one dog. He intervened and saved the dog. It was a hound, really thin and out of place. He took the dog to his place and fed him and let him rest. After about a day the dog grew restless and the guy let him go. As he watched the dog walk off, he remembered the 2 dogs he had as a kid.
