"Finished Chapter 2. The historical validity of the New Testament documents is without question more noteworthy of any other historical document over 1,000 years old. The earliest copy of New Testament writing comes from around 130 AD. from the Gospel of John. For most other historical writings, several centuries separate their original writing from their extant copies." — Dec 20, 2025 10:35PM

"Finished Chapter 3. The ancillary continues its mission and drags Seivarden Vendaai along. After renting a flier, they headed off. Not long later, the fuel ran out and the ancillary suspected sabotage. It carried Seivarden until another ship stopped them. After killing the would-be robbers, the ancillary took their ship and went to the place of Arilesperas Strigan, but she had already left." — Dec 22, 2025 07:33PM

"Finished Chapter 4. A few days later, grandpa heard back from the people and ordered the dogs. He said it would take a couple of weeks before they arrived. 2 weeks later, the notice came. The next day, Billy set out for town to get his dogs. It was his first time in town and he was amazed. He went to a store and bought his family some stuff. He then saw a school and tried out a slide." — 14 hours, 49 min ago

“Jesus does not want to be the only perfect human being at the expense of humankind. He does not want, as the only guiltless one, to ignore a humanity that is being destroyed by its guilt; he does not want some kind of human ideal to triumph over the ruins of a wrecked humanity.”

“If God worked through one woman to bring redemption, how is it that anyone can argue that God does not go on working through other women as well?”

“we should not be overly shocked and disillusioned when our leaders are revealed as having clay feet. Nor should we be blasé and shrug. If we are to trust God as our only true hope for social order and peace, we must avoid either adulatory naïveté or bitter cynicism about human leaders.”

“God is God. If He is God, He is worthy of my worship and my service. I will find rest nowhere but in His will, and that will is infinitely, immeasurably, unspeakably beyond my largest notions of what He is up to.”
