This book is really immature in writing and a bit boring. I hope it gets better. The cover is false advertising.

Holy hotness 🥵 listening to this on audio is making it difficult to work.

The male narrator of this book is horrible. It’s like Mr. Rogers or Bob Ross reading erotic romance.

DNF. Maybe I’ll try to pick up another time. I did not like this retelling.

Thank god for audiobooks.

It has taken me two week to get through 25% of the book….it’s so BORING. I normally LOVE Ava’s books, she’s a One-Click author for me. Tell me this gets better?!!

Okay…..it’s getting better. Starting to find out a little more about the brothers and their plans. Still can’t stand the CAPS ON SOME SENTENCES.

So far I’m pretty annoyed at the way this author writes. Run on sentences. CAPITAL LETTERS THAT LOOK SO OUT OF PLACE. I feel like we need a revisit of middle/high school English.

And please don’t get me started on the FMC. One minute she’s standing up for herself and the next minute she’s a blithering, begging idiot.

Someone please tell me it gets better.

I love this author, but I have not read her previous books about the Reapers. I will definitely go back and read the previous books! This story was everything I love about Shantel’s writing. It’s dark, gritty, angsty and oh so hot 🥵. I can’t wait to pick up this book as these chapters are just a tease!

This story had me confused much of the way through it. We have Alto, Delta and Ander who live in Greyson Manor which is a private school for the elite and musically talented. Alto and Delta are step-Siblings but we’re together for several years before their parents got married. This book was all over the place for me but the sex was steamy so it gets a bump.

We get the first 3 chapters and they were 🔥🔥🔥. I can’t wait until this book is publish (hurry up May 2023) so I can finish Mateo and Emilia’s story!
