It's so slow going. I find myself starting and stopping for days because it's uninteresting. The premise sounded too good to pass up. It's definitely a slow burn.

I try to give each book at least 100 pages. This is a rough read. I get that it's a Southern book, but every sentence has to have a quirky Southern reference. It makes the plot building soooooo slow. 🐌🐌🐌 I'm getting bored. 🫤

Awful so far, but I'm already invested. This author must have been very bored. I think I'm more bored because I'm still chugging away.

This is torture. I am sticking around because I loved Thorne's story. Randi is so annoying, but at this point, I'm invested in knowing the father. Well played. I do wish somebody would spank Molly. That kid is annoying AF. AF! I skim any parts of those kids bc she wrote one to be the biggest brat and labeled it "stubborn."

This hits different in October. I love re-reading this story! 🖤

Plenty of characters with their own dilemmas in a prestigious neighborhood in Colorado. So far so good.

Cute Christmas read so far.
