So far... I really like the movie better. 😬 This is okay, but the movie had a lot more heart, and I could at least attempt to solve the mystery myself. Really can't attempt to solve the mystery with the book so far because it's not giving me enough information.

This is 100% an impulse purchase. XD I had no idea it existed until last week when I went to B&N for something else, found that book, and was walking away when I saw this and I was like, "THE INKLINGS YOU SAY? A MYSTERY YOU SAY?" and grabbed it. I'm pretty much looking at it as a for-fun story and hoping it's enjoyable. :)

Man, this keeps being exciting. XD (And also, dragon is such a good dragon, yes she is! *pats dragon*)

I'm not even halfway through and the twists are already twisting!

I like the writing and the general concept, but this is set in an era where women were just breaking into spaces like science, and reading about multiple people being massive jerks about it for the past 100 pages is pretty frustrating. I hope the story will get to a point that I'm not having secondhand frustration the whole time.😅

As stated in my review, my first read of this in January last year got interrupted by a library hold becoming available, so I was always planning to read it again before continuing the series to be sure I didn't miss anything with having to put it down and then pick it back up. I happen to be in the mood for a reread right now, so here we are. :)
