I've read a bunch of books on Anne Boleyn but it's always interesting to read a new author's take on her.

The way the writing flows is sometimes disjointed, and it took forever for me to feel like the plot is going anywhere. I'm halfway through the book and the plot is still slow, but it's at least more enjoyable now.

The lives of the former royals were so paradoxical.

It's weird to read an alternate universe story on the Tudors when you knows a lot of actual history about the people of the time...but it's still fun.
