I don't know how I can not become discouraged when faced with such a huge tome.

It will be a long while before I finish this. Though, I actually do like the story; its just slow going.

I just have no mood for it. I don’t think that’s the story’s fault though.

Really, the way this guy describes women is very irritating. Sometimes men should really steer clear of writing on women. Terrible descriptions. Not to mention, his obsession with people's sexual orientation. This is a crime novel. Chillax man and focus up.

The writing is so odd. And there are so many prejudice statements in this. There are so many unnecessary misogynistic and quietly racist imagery in this book. The main character is such a douche. I'll push through but this book is really starting to annoy me.

I'm finding it hard to get through this book because I find the characters so ridiculous. But I have the whole series and it'd be such a pity not to finish the thing!

Ughhh... Kindda weird that she's getting all hot and bothered by that.... That's a serious set of issues
