Hannah H. is on page 38 of 338 of Melania
I’ve intentionally come to this book with an open mind and desire to understand Melania. But either her writing or her ghost writer is pretty disconnected… every paragraph ends with some Pat on the back (I.e. “I navigated it well” or “I handled it with poise” or “I never doubted myself and my ability.” There seems little humanity in her story so far….

Meh. Really didn’t care for the first few chapters. Not sure I’ll finish this one….

So… this book is totally not about a donkey. I’m about 5 hours into the audiobook and the levels of stories and history of nature + running is good, but definitely not what I expected. 😂

Hannah H. is on page 22 of 336 of The Address Book: What Street Addresses Reveal About Identity, Race, Wealth, and Power
What a profoundly sad quote (relating to British occupancy in India): “If an address is an identity, the British simply did not care who its Indian subjects were.”
