Um, I’m just rolling along here with his “monster” and dragging story wondering if I should keep going or call it.

Good so far, fun, but a little inconsistency is trying to pull me out of the story. But I will go on!!

It’s an interesting book, but another bigoted author.

This blatant feminism/man-hate in this series is vomit-inducing. Poor Richard gets shit every time he tries to say something nice. Anita has a huge chip on her shoulder, as do a lot of people in society.

This book may be too cutesy for me.

2 years of major hatred, I can’t stand to look at you, you’re satan, then, meh? Lets go for it?
And a little hair pulling and an “I Hate You” does not hate sex make.

I think I would’ve liked this better with more narrators. All these favorite characters just don’t sound like themselves 😩

I adore Shaw. What a lovable dork.
And Hazzard has me bawling. That big, bad, meanie.

I love Ashe. I love his stories. I do. But he may disenfranchise some of his readers.
He relies on exaggerated, satirical portrayals of ultra-conservative characters—especially around religion and gun culture—reducing them to hypocritical & extreme archetypes. Areas of his writing are so overpowered with bias, the characters lack any depth or interest, & feel just like stand ins for the author’s personal hatred

The worst part of Hamilton’s books are the torturing of innocent, meek, pleading characters. The Vampire Hunter is quickly evolving. There is less hunting bad vampires & raising zombies as part of her job, and more of her extremely complex, personal life which includes the undead and a multitude of shifters. The stories are becoming more violent & much more erotic & sexual. Good or bad, I haven’t decided.

Whomever is hoarding EMPLOYING PATIENCE audio by Saxon James at the Twin Cities libraries, listen to it or give it up! I haven’t moved up in queue in a month!! Gah

Here we go again. THE BIG MISUNDERSTANDING. The I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND I WILL LOVE YOU NO MATTER WHAT, but you didn’t tell me something big (that doesn’t include ANY CRIME OR CHEATING) and now I can’t trust you or be with you anymore.

Seriously? Ok, I thought I had no triggers. But you know what? If authors & reviewers could PLEASE state if the story includes a stupid, immature, just-for-drama MISUNDERSTANDING AND MALICIOUS REVEAL TROPES. Then the following overreaction of the second MC.
Just enough. Especially at the end when characters have already connected, bonded, and said the I-love-yous. So immature and unnecessary. I hate this trope.
