The worst part of Hamilton’s books are the torturing of innocent, meek, pleading characters. The Vampire Hunter is quickly evolving. There is less hunting bad vampires & raising zombies as part of her job, and more of her extremely complex, personal life which includes the undead and a multitude of shifters. The stories are becoming more violent & much more erotic & sexual. Good or bad, I haven’t decided.

Whomever is hoarding EMPLOYING PATIENCE audio by Saxon James at the Twin Cities libraries, listen to it or give it up! I haven’t moved up in queue in a month!! Gah

Just enough. Especially at the end when characters have already connected, bonded, and said the I-love-yous. So immature and unnecessary. I hate this trope.

Well, here we go again—another book taking aim at Catholics.Apparently, “Catholic-bashing” is in.I’m a Catholic, buying books about gay characters and relationships—because I support that.Yet it’s acceptable in this industry to mock people like me. One of the few businesses where insulting your customers is part of the brand.But sure, keep preaching about bigotry—just don’t forget to check the mirror.

Barely in and we’re already discussing the relationship between hateful people and “religious” people. If you’re implying a group of people are bigots, maybe look in the mirror. 😘

Nevermind. I didn’t realize that after listening ton3 books—36 hours of Audiobooks—the rest of THE ASYLUM FIGHT CLUB is UNAVAILABLE in any other format!!! THEY’VE ALL BEEN PULLED! And there’s a lot of books left!!! I’m so P*****! Can we get a WARNING from the author before we start a series that the whole series is now currently unavailable??? I get trigger warnings for death of pets in books, come on. 😡

I’m 1 hour into a 20 hour book. So far I have one thing to say. The narrator is too old for this part. Or SOUNDS TOO old or mature. Idk. I’ll see how it goes.

Audio. I’m pretty impressed with this book and author so far. I’ve never watched the tv show.
This is the first new mystery/thriller I’ve been able to “read” past the first chapter in months.

Now, who blocks highways and refuses to let people through, smash and grabs stores to loot the places, and now vandalizing and setting fire to other people’s cars? Oh, yeah, the Confederate flag wavers. Not impressed with the politics and bs, Cornwell. Not at all.

While some feel they are doing favors by mentioning 'triggers' in their reviews (because, for example, "I wanted to make sure those who may be sensitive to these topics were able to read safely and not get caught off-guard!"), others (like myself) consider these spoilers and ARE caught off guard. Please, if you feel the need to protect sensibilities, be considerate and put "spoiler alerts" on your reviews. Thanks.

Not feeling it. He’s found his mate. His mate has already integrated himself quite nicely into the story. Just not what I need right now.

I need, and this is the correct verb, books that contain Doms like Cam Snow in Matchstick Men, I would be eternally grateful. I’m on my 3rd reread. I love the complete dominance Cam has over Hunt, as well as the heat and possessiveness.

But I need the emotional connection and romance, too!

What in the are-we-ever-going-to-get-to-the-end-of-Criminal-Intentions-Batman is Cole McCade<\b> DOING??? I feel like he made an agreement with his readers; a pact, if you will. We’ve spent time (3 years, cough) and money and our *emotions* getting to know and love and hate these characters and frankly I’m just pissed. There. I said it.

Does anyone know when the HELL we are going to see another book in the Criminal Intentions series by Cole McCade? Sorry, I’m a bit irritated.
