So I listened to the audiobook for book one and it was great. Book two all I have to say is what the actual fuck?!? Why would they change POVs to Miles and still use a female narrator who doesn’t even try to use a male voice. It’s not only annoying but confusing to listen to.

Thank you Anne from the library!!! When all hope was lost you came through in the clutch and managed to merge my old and new library accounts while keeping all of my digital materials! This woman deserves a freakin medal! She did what no one else could! She wouldn’t have had to go so over the top if the others just knew how to do their basic job duties but she went above & beyond. Anne, you rock!

My library card expired this month & I started using the library near my house instead of the far away one that I’ve used forever. Get a new card here, they said. This is where you live, they said. It’ll be fine, they said. The 27 audiobook holds you have won’t be affected, they said. Well guess fucking what?!? Digital materials don’t carry over! Screw you new library! Learn how shit works!

Is the rest of the world getting as lazy as I am? I feel like every time I go to look at the description for a book that’s been released from 2020 all the way to upcoming releases it’s just blank! Or even worse is some half assed generic description that ends with “you should definitely read this”. Wtf is that?!? Can’t someone just copy and paste the summary from the back of the actual book.

This audiobook snatched back by the library before I even got to far in because I forgot I even had it borrowed. I didn’t even get to the start of the contest. Just the announcement of the contestants. Hopefully if I keep an eye out I can grab it again and take it out. I have too many holds to wait on it :/

I decided to give it another go and touched it out past the weird beginning. I’m glad I did because it’s gotten much better.

I’m still not sure if I’m into the supernatural aspect of it all but I guess I’ll decide that in the end.

Well, it’s crunch time if I want to get everything done by the end of the year. I need to listen to about 18 books for review & review another 50 or so that I’ve already listened to/read in the next 25 days. I think I can do it. Worse comes to worst I can just star rate the books I read for fun but that will really kill me since I’m trying to review everything for the year. Fingers crossed!

Arghhhh! Sooo backed up on reviews. All 30+ books on my currently reading list are finished but I refuse to mark them finished until I review them. Only a few are ones I actually have to review but I’m crazy. What can I say!
