Moon Captain is on page 7 of 484 of Job's Body
Obsessed with understanding connective tissue. Condemned to solving all my problems myself. I used to have many powers. I probably still have them, but lost touch, literally, with myself and my self. Anyway, here's to hoping I can slough off the leaden mantle of doom and become a magic (old) girl again

This book is a real immersion in how these people lived. I'm looking things up constantly. Gas mantles and zinc bathtubs. Sen-sen licorice mints. Hansom cabs. Really enjoying this aspect of the book very much. A great book to entertain you if you're all alone.

It's growing on me. This is a great book to read when you are sick or otherwise estranged. I can see why the men read it in the trenches. Very descriptive. I wish real life was like this instead of shivering in trenches

This is bumming me out. I do not see anything beautiful about the lives of the poor. I want stories of millionaire thriats being slit in the night. Maybe this will go there? I can hope

I legitimately love this book. I want it never to end. I guess once it ends I can read it over again. Yes I know there are more volumes. I wish everyone had to read this book the same way they had to read other classics. Though, I don't actually know if people do have to read classics at all anymore. What is our children learning!???

So I started reading this pretty much randomly but it's inspiring me to reflect about my past relationships, sociology class, all kinds of stuff. I've got a new therapist I'll be working with soon thank God. I really want to be authentic and have meaningful interactions! God it's hard to be appropriate, to feel what we should, etc!

This book is giving me ADHD. I think it's going to get easier once he finishes defining his terms. I think more math and less sentences would have been beneficial here but I'm like a math guy so

I'm done with the text of the novel. Highly melodramatic, but apparently a sweeping success. It doesn't really matter if I liked it as a book I just wanted to read it so that I could experience it since it is historically significant. I'm not familiar with the Bible so I felt a bit lost with all of that stuff. I guess it was a slam dunk at the time though! The 1800s were fucking crazy

I am already convinced and feeling quite passionately that slavery should be abolished and slaveholders should all be strung up immediately

I'm so ripe for recruitment. For real. Always have been. Am learning now that's partly because I have no sense of self. I was forcibly estranged from my self as a child and haven't got back to it yet. I'm trying to, though. I would like to be me and not just a selfless hand if God or whatever. Or would I? Hard choice to make. I'll just do what I do and see how that goes. This book is pretty entertaining stuff

This book is about a fucked up dude who manipulates everyone around him and also it's about lush descriptions of Italian furniture and food and scenery and fashion and art and whatever. Basically I hate it. It's very evil and very gay. I know I should save this for my actual book review but I think I'm going to speed skim the rest I just haaaate it ugh
