Argh, and now we assassinate the character of one boy to create a clear, guilt-free path to the other. Why can't a YA girl just choose a dude because she likes him more or he's cuter or more interesting or something? Why does the rejected one always have to become an asshole? I know I'm making a sweeping generalization, but it's so frustrating.

I'm enjoying this but the Antarctic explorer "eat your dogs" metaphor is super gross and is repeated over and over and is so obvious and heavy handed and--to me--super offensive that I almost quit reading every time it pops up (which is way too frequently). That is all.

Y'all, this is feeling very bogged down or something and I feel like such a jerkface for saying that. And since I teach at an art school (college), I'm struggling with the super specialness off all the characters at this art school/community because that's not really how it is. I love The Sky is Everywhere so much, so I'm kind of at a loss. Gah!

Driving around in the middle of nowhere with friends like Lauren Stasia are in this book = basically my entire high school experience.

I feel like I'm reading a book about my hometown, right down to the blue and gold knit hats at football games.

I'm audiobooking this and really not enjoy it like I did the first book. The story is fine but I feel like it's unfocused in the context of the series.

The depiction of sticky female friendships in this book is A+++.

I have to keep reminding myself that Rachel's a fictional character because I'm getting so upset about the BS at her work because this crap totally happens and it totally sucks.

It's a good thing this is an ebook because otherwise it's be hard to stop me from sneaking a look at how this ends.

Really enjoying this--the writing reminds me a bit of Sarra Manning.

I feel like these psychic sword dreams are a giant narrative cheat.

1) *This* is how you write a book with multiple lust/like/love/intense friendship interests. 2) *This* is also how you wrote a dualogy/duet/ pair of novels. That is all.

I had to google what happened in Angelfall because I couldn't remember anything but the very last scene--it's been awhile.

Really liked Sarah Rees Brennan's story--she's great a short-form.

Skipped Beth Revis' story because the series it's part of isn't really my jam.

This book has gone completely off the rails. It's so frustrating when such a promising book takes a nose-dive, especially one with such a great, well-developed character voice.
