Fascinating but a little self-indulgent. I enjoyed the first chapters then started to get the impression that the author was enjoying himself so much he didn’t care if anyone else was still reading. One highlight: in the audio book he gets the giggles then takes a breath and rereads the line. I love that they left that in.
