Some turbulence with the series for me. It’s great, has really amazing philosophy/sci-fi ideas throughout. Great for musing about history, the human condition, free will, etc.
I am used to character-driven narratives tho, so at times this feels like a slog bc the characters aren’t really built to be likeable/compelling, but rather are vehicles for the narrative. Not bad just an adjustment for me.
