i have a feeling this will be a 5 star book for me…

the writing is funny at times and memorable but her way of adding context and building character background in the flash backs is just a tad too much like summary? idk im being nit picky

so diff from writers and lovers imo but in a good way! very eager to have my heart destroyed in the coming pages!

the part where she is wearing her new green shoes and meets the man w the rum cake has me loling

best depiction of yearning i’ve read in a minute. maybe ever actually

so much better than book 2 so far

i’m finally understanding what she’s trying to do here and yes it’s definitely a very slow read but i’m liking seeing how the characters oppose each other and the inner monologues they both have. it feels very real

didn’t finish before midnight but progress was made. i’ll finish tomorrow

determined to finish this book before 2024 ends but that feels ambitious

sally rooney always writes about women who use toxic men as a form of self harm essentially and im kinda over it …. but we’ll see how this goes. so far ivan’s chapters are way easier / more enjoyable to read

once i got past the first chapter it got interesting thank god

this book is good but honestly put me in a rut. i’m finally getting back into it now tho

liking the vibe so far

im enjoying this book and i like the characters possibly the most of any romantasy series ive read, but this series doesnt hold my attention as much i don’t understand why. the other books felt more action packed while this feels more like a fantasy mystery to me, maybe thats why. bryce is the best and probably the character i feel strongest about. hunt is a great guy but im not addicted to him at this time

things are picking up (note im more than halfway done w the book but….)
