none of the relationships in this book feel fleshed out. i said this before but it still holds true, it feels like reading someone's diary or internal monologue but all the direct interactions and relationship building is withheld from us. i don’t know why i should care that her friend is moving, i havent even read anything showing how close she is to said friend

trying to figure out what is bothering me about this. i think A it feels more like a friend is telling me a story than actually being in a story and B it’s kinda like an overflow of information all at the beginning to set up all the relationships and it feels forced. BUT brooke’s humor shines so far she is making me lol truly
