i put this off for a bit bc i was reading wuthering heights, but just went back to it again and decided to reread the second novella. i decided to read it aloud as a proper monologue and honestly that made it way more impactful for me. her spiraling and desire to latch reason or blame onto everyone around her is so devastatingly relatable. i have loved both stories so far

the second story, the monologue, was killing me and making me put off reading this further but now i fear i resonate w the woman in the monologue. sometimes we need to spiral and vent about everyone who bothers us ❤️

i have a feeling this will be a 5 star book for me…
