These are bad, per se, but the first book was much better.

So far, I just want to yell at Roberto to just mind his own damn business. He’s been there like 2 days and is ludicrously involved in the drama.

Trying to find motivation to keep reading after enduring a pathetically awkward and needless conversation between two “intelligent” adults about morning wood. And having to read about one defecating in Hell. Then a chapter of rambling info dumping about reincarnation. Ugh.

“Blue Pastures”: what?!?! And why???

Sometimes I feel like authors write parts of books purely to display their intelligence—to show off. I thought this might be fun, and I’ve chuckled a few times, but I’m bored with all the name dropping and info dumping.

At this point, I’m just leaving notes on what irritates me. That’s the only way I’ll finish this dreck.

Remove the repetition of details and the senseless sidebars, this book could’ve been a short story—or an email.

I sprained my eyes from rolling them.

Kit is a horrible excuse for a caregiver. And the premise for the book is flimsy at best.

Don’t ask me why I’m still reading this. Not my favorite Sager novel at all.
