At this point, I’m just leaving notes on what irritates me. That’s the only way I’ll finish this dreck.

Remove the repetition of details and the senseless sidebars, this book could’ve been a short story—or an email.

I sprained my eyes from rolling them.

Kit is a horrible excuse for a caregiver. And the premise for the book is flimsy at best.

Don’t ask me why I’m still reading this. Not my favorite Sager novel at all.

About to DNF because Sloane is so annoying. I get she’s a depiction of a certain personality type, but I can’t deal with her.

Wow. Sloane is cloying.

I thought I was going to DNF this because I set it aside months ago and didn’t really want to pick it back up. However, I decided today to give it another chance, and for some reason, it grabbed me this time. Sometimes you do need to be in the mood for a book.

I just want to finish this. Ugh. Talk about droning on. And I can’t stand Will as a narrator.
