I love the little references that King peppers in related to his other works, beyond the other novels also set in Castle Rock. But I also love his references to other horror, particularly cosmic horror like Chambers and Lovecraft. Gaunt saying a book from Leng makes me view him not as a demon or Satan...guys, he's NYLARLATHOTEP.
