I have to say, as much of a hard time I gave the first two books, I have seen growth from the author across the 3 books. Hopefully its the development of skill through practice and feedback and not AI, but I haven't seen anything that screams AI, so I have hope for the world.

There's some nice twists to the fated mate bond here, which is not a common trope. Again - each one is better, mechanically and stylistically, than the one before.
Homegirl knocked out YET AGAIN though.
