I really liked book one, but this just feels like it's kinda.. "meh." I wanted her to stop being stupid, but I know that was a lot to ask. I feel like this is just a bit too YA for me right now.

The most interesting thing about this book is the diary.

I need some more plot. So far this just feels like the book of Saeris’ unhinged horniness, unable to think or do anything else without thinking of Kingfisher. For somebody who has the weight of the realms on her shoulders, the only thing she really seems to think about is her own wants and needs.
