Bruh.. I don't know if I even like this book. I don't think I do. I believe that I am mesmerized by the gruesome imagery Keri Lake is able to manifest, but the story is a little bleh, and the romanticism of self-inflicted harm is just a no from me. I'm this far in, and I feel like nothing has actually happened? They're still in the mortal realm. They still haven't even started their search to find vivicantum. Wtf.

I have no idea wtf is going on. I am so confused at where we are in the story, in the timeline… I feel like I started in the middle of something??
