This book has about 24% back matter so really I'm 57%, that's what I'm telling myself.
A.Ham was a super complicated dude who was absolutely brilliant and not without his flaws. Look up doing the most and Extra and you'd find a picture of A.Ham. Also because he was feisty and opinionated he made enemies who then slandered him extensively after his death.

Going to very slowly read this enormous book. Saw Hamilton again and I have questions so I'm going to the source.

I've never read a holiday romance before.

The world needs more mad-cap extremely silly books for girls. I am here for everything in it.

This book is insane
A scene:
A business woman in inexplicable dominatrix dress just found a headless zombie and made him into an intern. No pay, no complaints, hardworker, does as ordered.
Also everytime the husband whines about having to do anything the book lists all the things his wife did. A++

This book is insane and I love it

Our resident dumbass was kicked out of the proud boys because during Jan 6th he accidentally smeared feces on a confederate statue instead of the statue of Grant he was looking for. That's right, he's too stupid to be a proud boy. Hiaasen really has the Florida Man vibe down.

"It's easy work. I'll pay ya fifty bucks cash."
"To do what?"
"Stuff more baggies. I got the carpy tuna real bad, so I could use some help."

Hiaasen is hilarious. The speaker is a buffoon who throws racist pamphlets on peoples driveways.

The lesbians are adorable and getting to some real stuff (Sally Ride was gay yall) and the space part is dope

the only good thing about the prize winning book is that i'm over halfway done. the fact that the main character is a writer talking about authors is too onanistic. The affectation of paragraphs and paragraphs without quotation and attribution makes it seem like it is meant for creative writing students to analyze. other people's grief is boring.

Lady who designs fancy gardens, Land Girls, and modern lady who restores fancy gardens? Be still my heart, was this book written for me? Though three time lines had better be kind to remembering who is who, please and thank you. I've already got a guess for who seems nice but is really sinister in each time line.

I've now switched to books about trauma. Can't wait to traumatize myself apparently.

Some interesting ideas but the whole "autistic person written by an outsider" is always a little....

Teen girl witch movie plus field hockey set in 1990. It's a trip. The Craft plus field hockey (are there any movies with field hockey? lol) Narrator is very sassy.

Actually now the author is talking about wild cranberries and wow is this geography a mess.

This book is the kind of fluff I enjoy. However the author keeps referring to the cliffs of coastal Virginia. Did she get Virginia confused with Oregon? Maybe Maine? I can promise you there are no cliffs in coastal Virginia.

I have finally achieved 50 % of this never ending book. Thumbs up to a romance in late 40s though.
