I've been introduced to quite a handful of characters, but I already love each and every one of them!

This book was so so good! I'm going to need a day or two to collect my thoughts before I can write a review...

Ah, the good old shaming of girls. I'm glad Mena is aware of how wrong and unfair this is!

I'm loving how this is attacking a lot of problems I feel myself. Like how here, women are expected to prepare wonderful and hearty meals for men to make life more "agreeable," but can't be selfish and have food craving themselves. No, they are expected to eat salads and be mindful of calorie intake.

So many issues going on that purposely reflect this modern world.

I'm identifying a lot with the embarrassment and shame Mena is feeling over being seen as an improper and disobedient girl in a patriarchy. This is hitting a bit too close to home and the realness of it, but I'm loving it all the same!

As if I needed any more reason to love Rhys' Inner Circle, but the actions Feyre knows Cassian and Azriel would do for her had Rhys not been there helping her through her depression makes the two even more lovable <3

Yes, yes and yes. 100% agree, because Tarquin is an absolutely wonderful and caring person who deserves to be loved. If no one takes him, I certainly would ;)

Well, I'm literally whizzing through this book!

HMMMM. Characters seem a bit underdeveloped around the edges here.

It's done: I'm officially in love with Okame and Tatsumi's frenemy bromance. They are hilarious to read about! How I missed reading Kagawa's trademark comedy.

Of course there's a character I can't help but have a crush on. Of course.

I'm getting a wonderful mix of traditional Japanese culture and feminism in this book. Pretty neat!

This is definitely some sort of weird all-way love triangle, I think? Kieran's also a hilarious flirt!
