This audiobook is very easy to listen to. I usually have to follow along when listening to an audiobook so I can stay engaged, but that's not needed with this book. It has a great flow.

I feel bad for Chase. He always seems to get the shit end of the deal, but hopefully things will go differently this time. Well, if he pulls his head out of his a@@ and notices the people around him that still care, the ones that won't betray him, the way his wife did.

I can't put this book down. Amazing would be the wrong word to use on this book, it's too painful, too much hurt, and far too little justice. I really hope that Kristy can make it through. The woman is a lot stronger than she gives herself credit for. Most abused women start to believe the words of their abuser, she did at first, not anymore. She knows what she has to do to survive, I think she's ready to do it.

Just finished the third story in this book. It was good, but had some grammatical errors. Sometimes two people were talking in the same sentences, and there were quit a few words missing or misspelled. All together the three books were pretty good, but as you can tell I'm only half way through the book. I need a break and will get back to this book later.

So when I started this book I thought it was going to be a series, with the same crime family throughout. But as usual I didn't read the reviews or the summary of the book. This is actually a set of different crime family stories, and even though I couldn't get into the first one, the second one was great.

Second book is much better than the first. For me it is, anyway. Both are nicely written, but the second one pulled me in more than the first.

Just finished the first book. It was okay. I just wasn't able to get into it. I am going to keep reading. The next book seems to be started off a little better. There are a lot of spelling errors but no worse than what I've seen in other books. For other people this could be a favorite. Will not let that effect my rating. The story line is well written and flows nicely.
