What in the world is going on?!

This is hard, heavy content, but one that everyone should read. Many of the things mentioned thus far have made me queasy to think took/takes place where I was born and raised.

Reading this with my kiddos. 📖

I know everyone loves this book, and it’s not bad so far. My question is: why is this girl so mean to everyone? Haha.

I read The Perfect Marriage almost 3.5 years ago, so my brain took a while to remember who these characters even are.. haha. Finally remembering it now.

I started reading this aloud to my kiddos at bedtime. They were in tears from giggling so hard. They kept asking for “one more chapter” after every chapter until we finally had to stop because it was late. They can’t wait to listen to more tomorrow night. 💛

“Every single day she’ll be scrolling, reading, responding, thinking, ruminating on what she could create or consume, to the point that her children slowly but surely fall into second place. It’s like a black hole she can be sucked into at a moment’s notice. The Web’s unrelenting pull will cause her to give her children only half as much focus (or even less) as she gives to that rectangular black void.”

Am I going to regret staying up until 5 am reading? Yes.

But it’s just so good that I can’t put the book down!

I’m only five chapters in and already bawling.

a little slow so far, but it’s finally getting into OTH parts.

Too steamy for my liking.. Won’t be finishing this one.
