VIOLET I’M SO PROUD ⚡️🫶 Yarros really handed her the apron and LET HER COOKKKK

“You don’t speak,” I snap, meeting his gaze for the first time in months. “Not to me. As far as I’m concerned, you have the credibility of a junkyard and the integrity of a rat.” (Yeah girl tell him 😭🙏🙏)

“Prince Halden and whatever favorite guard follows you in case you stub your toe.” (Lmaooo 💀)

“And you’re going to teach us how to defeat you?” Aaric asks from behind us.

A corner of Xaden’s mouth slowly curves upward. “I can teach you to try, but there’s only one person capable of taking me down one day, and it isn’t you, Graycastle.”

Not me thinking this is one of the most romantic lines I’ve read but also this better not be foreshadowing 😭🙏

noooo the banter was everything until the couple got together too fast and BOOM rlly dumb miscommunication trope. then i remembered this is a book with words written by a person - and not another world in my head. ughhh why???! just let me escapism in PEACE
