Is there anyone out there who uses Kindle Oasis & can tell me if it's worth buying? It's pricey, but I'm really not happy with my Voyage. It's laggy and sometimes simply unresponsive. But before I splash out the 250 + quid, I'd be grateful to know if it's any good. Another reason is that I could use my audio books with it

Before I could even read, I'd steal my brother's Spiderman comics. Later, I'd die waiting for him to finish the latest edition. Sometimes he'd let me read first, on the condition that I clean up his room. I do believe that my love for books comes from the comics I read when I was 6-7.

So, seeing that my unrated review for Ms. Hopkins 'Cocky Roomie' was removed, with a nice email from GR as to why it was removed. I went ahead and got me the sample of this book and I did read the sample :) Now, I can give it a rating.

Evan failed to see how anyone could not get along with Ruth. Yes; she was prickly and awkward and blunt to a fault. She was also adorably excitable, unapologetically passionate, and secretly, achingly, shy.

I can’t stop quoting but how could I not?

Beneath that thick, dirty-blonde beard, his lips curled into a slow smile. “Did you like the lasagne?”

No idea what the background is, seeing that this is happening in the prologue, but I think I'm going to like this heroine :)

This is what I love about Romancelandia:

- Don't assume it's okay to bully authors and threaten their livelihoods
- Don't assume readers are too stupid not to see what you're doing
- Don't assume there won't be a backlash

And back to having my heart broken.

One of the big mysteries of the Yorkist brothers has always been why George was still able to command men after having betrayed his own brother and King not once but twice with the intent of dethroning him. I know he didn't have the position of trust, but still enough influence to cause discontent. I don't get it.
