RIP Stan Lee.
Before I could even read, I'd steal my brother's Spiderman comics. Later, I'd die waiting for him to finish the latest edition. Sometimes he'd let me read first, on the condition that I clean up his room. I do believe that my love for books comes from the comics I read when I was 6-7.

My young reading life as well. I love the comments re the “UFO” sightings by commercial pilots off Ireland the day he died. Some witty people posted that it was aliens come to beam him up. And total respect for his general views on life and social justice. Vale and thanks.
That was my childhood too, Bubu, with 2 older brothers who bought used comics every week with whatever little money they had.
Strange, right? It was as if I had to let go of yet another thing of my childhood.
