Thanks, ladies. I loved that article. Perfectly described how my 'relationship' with romance books evolved.
At first, I was frustrated by the tone (I saw that yesterday I think!) because it was all “when I need to turn my brain off.” And I was thinking how many rich and challenging books I’ve read that I have the bonus of knowing a safe outcome is around the corner...But then she described the evolution of her appreciation at the end of her appreciation as good books—period, and I was thinking the exact same this regarding my relationship...
Oops, I repeated myself there...as romance as good books—-period, that should say!
