Ehh, I'm not too sure about this one. I'm already annoyed at the whole forcing friends to find love thing going on here. How long before we get to the holiday portion of this book?

Pretty interesting so far.

I am struggling with this book. It's not bad enough to DNF (not yet anyway) but the characters just aren't giving enough to keep me drawn to them or their 'lust' story.

And how many more chills are going to run down her spine before this book ends? 🙄

I'm not as engaged as I was when I first started reading this book.

I'm struggling to read this one because the writing is so choppy. I'm still in the early stages of the book but it's hard to focus on it due to such poor diction. The incomplete sentences read like tweets or texts. Hopefully it won't turn me off to the point that I don't finish it.

I tried.

I really did.

I knew in Chapter ONE that this wasn't it, however, I wanted to give it a chance so I pushed through. But the lack of vocabulary is so LOUD that it makes for a poorly written book. Authors really need to fully invest in their craft. I had second hand embarrassment trying to read this.

I was doing very well all year with reading at least 4 books per month. Now here I am in month eleven STRUGGLING to get to the halfway point of this book, my third one of the month. I keep falling asleep on it. The sex scene at the beginning was so long and drawn out. It took forever to get to the main event, and that was uneventful. Imani's paranoid, overly horny ass is annoying AF and frankly, I'm over it.

I'm a HUGE AshleyNicole fan, but I am struggling my ASS OFF to finish this book. I don't want to give up on it because I finally made it halfway through after maybe three weeks, but the characters are boring as hell, and makes for a long, drawn out storyline. I've read three other books in between and about to start a fourth one. Maybe I'll finish it by the end of 2020.
