Good - liking this one

This book is uncomfortable and not my cup of tea- dangerously close to DNF - Don’t Recommend list

I want to scream at the characters as things go slowly bonkers with each viral moment

Ok it got better - it’s like American psycho of geffen records 🤣😂

A little too far fetched. Not a unique plot - especially when you read other books by this author.

Ok survived the worst of the racist language.

I’m barely into this book and while I know how racist homophobic white males with a tiny bit of power are, this text is over the top. I cannot count the number of racial slurs and I’m only at 15%. It’s almost getting unreadable and I’m starting to wonder if this author is enjoying being able to say these things out loud. Not cool.

Such a dark topic

May all future and current cat ladies bond thru this book lol

Is it terrible that when she goes on about her life I only perk up at the Epstein parts? I know it’s a small but dominant part of her life and the rest is to show how it messed her up, but i would be more engaged if the book was just about her life with Epstein trafficking ring.

Interesting thus far but a little slow

Love the gothic suburban theme set in the 1950s.

I never read more than the first two sentences of a synopsis so I usually have only a vague sense of the story- so it’s way more complex than a typical suburban horror story and I’m here for it.

Listening to the audiobook- absolutely hate the reader- her cadence irks me.

Only by the end did I figure out all the names. This was a helluva audiobook. Good story as always tho

Did not find captivating - rehashed old book I’m guessing.. he got a lot better at writing!

I love her horrible characters. I like to think I would be a little bit like our anti-heroine - if only I could get away with it 😂😂😂
