Ok the first two chapters were long but now it's gotten interesting!

There is more world building than character development so far but the writing is detailed.

I love a man who does nice things for his woman like run her a bath 😉

This book reads like bubble gum pop.

Prologue is all world building. Omniscient overview of the end and what came after. Establishes the Church as a major entity. Promises something to come with relics and a man now on the edge of the known world.

The chapters are really long.

This book is obviously uploaded to Amazon incorrectly I'm 15% into the book it says on on page like 900 and something; which makes no sense. And then it just gave me the rating for the end of the book when it's just part two of the book anyways....

Alix Harrow immediately pulls me into a very particular vibe for this book. It follows 3 sisters the maiden, mother and crone more or less in an alternative history with more witches and magic during the days of women's suffrage.

Different concept flames have free thoughts. Masters can brain jack you and souless just follow orders ...they may also be nightmare creations?
Middle twins in the woods. Somehow responsible for their family of siblings eating . Unclear what the boy was doing In the woods or why the girl didn't just give part of the other dear to the random girl in the woods.
