I’m identifying strongly with the main character’s curiosity, and his agonizing over what he’s expected to do or say, because he hasn’t got a clue.

I am enjoying this book quite a bit, but I do want to pay attention to every detail, and life at the moment is a somewhat distracting. I've set this aside to read when I'm able to give it my full attention, in favor of light reads. It is not a complicated book, it's more that the subject matter is more important to me than the average quick fiction.

Didn't finish this one. It wasn't a bad story, I just lost interest.

I just finished Bound by Fire (The Cloud Warrior Saga Book 2) and gave it 4 stars. Seriously loving this series.

I'm sad that I've finished! A fairytale worthy of the oldest traditions with a respectful nod to Baba Jaga. I may even buy the hard copy and read it again.

It's been awhile since I found a fantasy series to hold my attention as this one has so far. I'll be eagerly awaiting the next book.

I just finished NYPD Red 3. Now I have to find something new to read.

I just finished Scarlet Lies: Book One in the Scarlet Series and gave it 4 stars.

What? A Filipina heroine? What a surprise! I'm only a couple chapters in, but so far, the writing seems pretty good. We'll have to see how the story, and characters, develope.

Truly unique, so far, though the main characters' relationship reminds me of Karen Moning's Fever series - not a bad thing, mind you. Very curious to see how things develop.

Finished "The Tunnels" today. Not quite James Patterson, but a solidly good read. It's a series I'll likely follow as I did enjoy the twists and the historical references.

After just finishing "the Name of the Wind", I hope it's not too soon to start a new book. I'm hoping the complete change of genre will help. It sure sounds interesting, but maybe that's just because ancient hidden places fascinate me.
