Re-reading this masterpiece just to feel something 😔

That was the dumbest most out of the blue plot twist I’ve read in a minute and I’ve read a few cruddy books this year 🙄

Not every relationship in the world needs to be enemies to lovers Sarah 😭😭😭😭😭. I was expecting Lorcan to be a Cassian like character and I am so disappointed.

What is this exposition disease. Like I get not wanting to sit through the delivery of information but having the MC just repeat stuff for the sake of “remember what I told you” by another character really feels like this is for the reader and not to test the MC’s memory

How is this a bloody masterpiece? There’s Macguffins EVERYWHERE and honestly the hero of the story is Lysandra’s jeweler that makes really good duplicates.

And another thing I know it’s the SJM effect but Rowan acts as if he shows a modicum of kindness to Celaena he will spontaneously combust bc damn he is cold 😭

I’m reading this so fast. Bless SJM for writing a strong female character that is assertive and not insufferable and is a girly girl that loves dresses and shopping.

I know the author is trying to say that truth, regardless of its objectivity, has political ramifications. However, this should be written better bc when I first read it, I bursted out laughing.

This woman has been in architecture school for like not even a semester, is failing her classes, but is asked to design a whole manor ok then.

Ah yes, another “enemies to lovers but it’s not really enemies, it’s just that the FMC has an ounce of beef and then turns it to many pounds of beef for no warranted reason and becomes insufferable towards the MMC for most of the book and the MMC puts up with it bc he has to” 🤨👍🏻
