I may actually buy this series. The Victor from Tucson is kinda of a spin off from this but I read them first ( just KU) I like the MULTIPLE main characters more than Victor so far. He's a bit too wish fulfillment 😅

Not a fan of the author plopping a pov chapter out of nowhere that won't directly tie in to our lead for multiple chapters. I'm fine with that being off screen.

Hoped that was only book 1, but just bounced off the first switch in book 2, 8 chapters in.

Tbh I am totally skipping all of Nicky's entries. It confusing as to how it connects to the overall plot, plus I do NOT need to give head-space to being locked in a looney bin and experimented on.
