I'm screaming she's talking like she's lusted over him for years but she's only known him a few hours. we also don't know who the killer is so why are you fucking one of the men. 

Also, it's one thing for her to get horny and be into the guy, but the fact that he's making moves on her when 13 people have been murdered in the past hour is also kind of non-attractive in my opinion? 

Okay, I have been lying to myself. It was cute at first but she wont stop shutting up about the romance, and I feel like I could be into it if it didn't feel so hamfisted and.... idk. The main character is disgusting for getting horny in this scenario? Like what the fuck. I just wanted a cute romcom horror book, but this reads like trashy tiktok smut instead. I will finish it... but it isn't what I expected or wanted

I feel like I want this to work for me more than it is but MAYBE IF THE MALE NARRATOR COULD OPEN HIS MOUTH WHEN HE TALKS ID BE MORE INTO IT

I'm enjoying the concept so far but holy shit this audiobook is terrible. They have men voicing all the male lines and it's so jarring having it switch from the female narrator to a male voice just to say a few words. I have a feeling I may end up dropping this because I was only reading it because it seemed like a light read that I could do audio only for, but...

Okay, I feel like this ending is taking a good story and beating the goodness out of it.

The twist somehow made the book even worse.

You know, I feel like this twist would actually make this a pretty good book if you didn't have all of the fucking blatant abuse for no fucking reason. I feel like that's the problem I have with all of Colleen Hoover and why I enjoy hate reading her because she has cool ideas, but God damn is she a terrible man writer.

Okay, it hasn't been revealed yet, but I think I figured it out, and actually that's not that bad of a plot twist, the rest of the book is still kind of trash though. But when Layla got shot, did Sable take over her body and now Layla is stuck here? It would make sense for Layla to be here.

oooo are we finally at the supposed twist that's supposed to make me like this book? We will see.

Okay, I have to admit that the interview guy being a ghost as well is a really nice twist. Also explains why he doesn't care that a screaming woman is tied up upstairs.

Also hold the fuck up. If Willow is able to take over Layla's body, then why didn't she just possess Leila instead of having Leads tie her up and injure her? Wouldn't it have been better to not put her through all that fucking trauma?

There is no fucking way that this is the reason she's tied up. What an underwhelming reveal. Then again, how do you explain away abuse in a whelming way?

I really don't understand how Willow isn't going to let you leave when Willow literally told you she couldn't leave the property and the fact that you are twice the size of Layla so why don't you just pick her up and carry her off the property?

If Willow ends up being sable, I'm going to be so fucking annoyed because it literally makes no sense that she would wait six months until they're at this house in order to reveal herself. 🔴

How do you prefer a ghost that you've only known for like, eight days? Actually, it's probably only like six... more than your girlfriend. It literally makes zero sense, but I keep repeating this as colleen hoover so what do I expect?

Also, if he is telling us this story because he's telling some random guy he met on the internet that's supposed to help them with something.... Why is he also giving him graphic details about a blowjob he's receiving? How does that have anything to do with getting Layla help? Oh yeah, she gave me a blowjob once and here are all the details and I also fantasized that it was Willow instead while it happened. what?

I mean it's Colleen Hoover, so I expected this, but now he's falling in love with the ghost that's possessing his girlfriend's body, what that ever loving fuck. So romantic.

What the hell is wrong with this author? He takes his girlfriend to the place they met because he's hoping it will bring her personality back and now that her personality is coming back, he's gonna drug her to make her go to sleep... All because he wants to talk to a ghost which he could eventually talk to if he just fucking waited until she naturally fell asleep. True love, am I right?

I think the worst thing about this book is I'm actually kind of interested in the premise, but I don't understand why the tying up of Leila and abuse needs to happen to get the point across, but then again it's colleen hoover, so what did I expect?
