I like this book so far, but I think I can't stand books where they characters tangents and start rambling about stuff that has NOTHING TO DO with anything. I would rather you build your characters naturally instead of word vomiting.

I love this woman's writing and the weird ideas she comes up with and so far a lot of these short stories have kind of reminded me of Junji Ito story telling.... But I don't understand what this woman's obsession with incest and underage sex is....

why is the ending so bad.....

I was really enjoying this book, but I feel like it's going nowhere and now this whole situation that's happening feels so unbelievable.... I feel like there hasn't been any actual challenge for the main character at all, and she's just kinda coasted through the whole show.

i am struggling with this book as well. it has an interesting premise.... but all the forced racism is really throwing me off.... like i know it wasn't rainbows for Asian Americans during COVID... but.... multiple times a day.... and... just everything else... it feels more like a racist wet dream than awareness.

You know what? I think I'm gonna drop this because I really hate it. Normalize dropping books that you hate if you've gotten to 50% and still don't like them.
