Holy shit, I can't do this. Apparently this book is super dark and emotional, but I don't understand how it can be emotional at all when it's literally written by a fucking robot. I think this is the quickest a book has ever defeated me. 😅 I didn't even make it 50% into the first chapter.

"Some of the girls, surprisingly, come from respectable, decent families, but have been sent, because their parents believed they were engaging in immoral behaviors, or, as they put it, were incorrigible."

I'm not even exaggerating. I'm gonna go insane. Why are there so many fucking commas?!?!

I hope I can push through this author's writing style because holy hell, run on sentences, and, so, many, commas. I feel like I'm reading a robots writing. But like, not an AI robot, just a robot robot.

I scrolled through my books randomly and chose this.... Guess I'm reading another historical fiction about wayward women. 🤣
