In my readings tonight there is a part that is foreshadowing a historic event, that event would be the shooting of Abraham Lincoln. Since this part of the story took place in 1863, when Lincoln had not been shot yet. There is a part when the father says, "That damned man, Mr. Lincoln, should be shot"(78). This sentence made me think how they would react at that moment if they found out that Lincoln was eventual shot.

On page 284, the team of strength comes out. This team is highlighted with moment though out the book, but is shown in this moment when isabel is thing about her scar and what it means, "This mark stands for Isabel"(284). that shows that Isabel likes her mark and takes it like a good thing that makes her stronger and she is proud of that. This shows that the amount of strength in this book is the team of the book.

Willa is in shock, she is shocked because she is talking to Maisie Huntington, "It took Willa a moment to realize it was Maisie Huntington , the Maisie Huntington she has just been thinking about"(216). This is so shocking because around the journos eventing circuit Maisie is a rich star. This girl is like a celebrity to Willa, and the fact that she is talking to her is a huge deal! That is why Willa was in shock.

Robin Hood is kind. One day when he was walking in the forest he saw a man who was happy and singing. The next day he saw the man again he described him as, " He came drooping through the woods, feet dragging and head bent down"(156). When Robin sees his appearance he offers to help the man.The man says that he was going to be married but the bride is being forced into a different marriage. So Robin saves the day.

Tonight in Robin Hood, they find a Knight and invite him to dine with them. The Knight agrees and follows Little John to camp. When they get to they sit down to a great dinner. When the dinner is completed, they search the Knights bags for money. The Knight then says, "No more that 10 shillings"(70). This is saying that this is not a rich night like normal, but a poor one. This is what happened tonight in Robin Hood

Tonight I started War Horse. In the first chapter tonight Joey is bought from the market and brought home to an abusive owner and his wife. They also have a son named Albert who is a nice and kind boy. When Joey is at market he thinks, " I shall not call him my master, for only one man was ever my master"(2). I believe that this is a hint for whats to come in the story. I am excited to see if this guess becomes true.

Tonight in my book you learn a new character trait about Holly. You learn this about Holly in this quote "She pretended to be invincible, always in charge, and never letting stuff freak her out- or admitting to it." This is important to learn bc it shows you what Holly is really feeling on the inside. This changes your view on her bc you always thought she was strong and tuff. This proves that is not that true.

In tonights reading, a popular horse joke is said but is somewhat difficult to understand the meaning. The joke is "Horses are only afraid of two things: things that move and things that don't move." This is a popular horse joke bc it is so true that it is funny. Horses have a tendency to get scared of random things because they are prey animals and run away from danger. This is why this joke related to my book.

Tonight in my reading I found a simile. This simile is thought by Emily about the reaction of a border when they arrive at a schooling show. Emily thinks, " She was, as excited as if she'd just pulled up to the Winter Circuit in Wellington (85)." This simile really helps you understand how excited this person was. This is bc Wellington is a really big deal and anyone who compete there is insanely lucky.

On page 53 Rob does not want Emily to ride Nyx. He says "Allegedly or not , stay away from him (32)." This means that Rob is trying to keep his daughter to stay safe and not end up in a coma and then die like Summer. A trainer who is not her dad whole have shoved her on that horse by now. But since Rob is emily's da d he wants her to stay safe and alive. The only problem is that Emily really want to ride Nyx.

On page 15 Emily is taking a cross country group lesson with Mr.Rivers. After Emily jumps a successful course on her OTTB Mr.Rivers says "Despite your insubordination, your horse has talent. Want to come overt the dark side and ride with us (16)?" To put this in non horsey terms Mr.River is saying that she should consider switching her discipline from show jumping to cross country. This is what happened tonight.

On page 150, AJ is worried. AJ is worried because she thinks that he new friend Katy wants to buy her young, but tainted pony, Squib. She starts thinking this at failings then she over hears Haley talking to Katy about Squib. ' " That pony has lots of talented being was wasted on that girl, why don't you buy him?" " Trust me I am working on it (140)." This means that Katy wants to buy Squib. That is why AJ is sacred.

An event that happened in my book was when the fire started to approach the farm. When this was happening I thought the farm might get destroyed. As the fire was getting closer Grace, Margret and Tom got out all of the sprinkler and set them towards the woods. Then I was think about how smart they all were and how I would never be able to do something like that. This event showed me how brave Grace is.

I predicted that Colleen is going to end up in love with rainbow. I also think that Maddy and Magic will instantly click. I am predicting this beacuse it will be the ulimit plot twist in the story. I would do this if I were the arthur because no one would see it coming. This is what I predicted is going to happen in the future of my book.

I got nevous when Dakota fainted off Socks. I got nevous because if something ba dwere to happen to Socks Missy who probably kick her out of fox run. This would be bad for Dakota because she loves horse and I feel bad for her because she had to sell all of her horse to pay for her dads cancer tretment. This is why I got realy nervous when Dakota fainted off Sock.

I cant believe that on the moning of a show Rob shows up with Emilys mom and stepsister! I think i was just in as much shock as Emily was. I think that things are going to get even more crazie at Fox Run now. I can not wait to see what happens next.

Today In my book bluebird came home from the vet clinic. When he comes home Faith throws him a welcome home party. Sadly, Emily will not be able to compete in the last talent scout class. Instead she is taking Socks, Arion and Four. But then on the morning of the show Emily's Mom and Stepsister show up. That's what happened in my book tonight
