Jasmine is starting Saving Wishes (Wishes, #1)
The constant talking about others whereabouts and behavior in her town also causes her to try to keep a low profile. Because of that, she is also hesitant to trust people thinking that they may turn on her and end up spreading lies/rumors. Society shapes Charli's personality as well as she shapes her self. She acts upon the town being so lifeless by becoming a rebel to create events. Goal : 100 pages

The society the main character lives in is one that shaped her identity greatly. She lives in a drowsy, small town. Nothing much goes on in her town and when something does, the whole town will gossip about it nonstop. Charli, the main character, has been itching to get out of the town she grew up in since she was born. The lifeless activity it has irritates her and causes her to stir up trouble.

Charlotte Blake is someone who is very stubborn, headstrong and a bit insecure. She will follow what she feels is best and will often be unwilling to change her original opinion about certain events. Piper's Cove a small town in Tasmania is another vital part of her identity. She grew up there and decided to raise her family at the Cove. Many of her memories were made in that area.

I feel like Noah, the main character, can talk to strangers at ease which is a trait that I unfortunately do not posses. What I can relate is that we can't communicate feelings clearly and directly at times. Goal : 100 pages.

I can "sort of" relate to the main character but it is kind of hard to tell because the novel is so poorly written. Since this book is a short story and mostly dialogue, I cannot pull much information about the characters from it. I cannot really relate to the protagonist because I, for one, do not work at a pizzeria.

Since he is a historical character, I would also ask what his current age is and what he has accomplished so far in his life. I would also want to ask him more about his childhood and life behind his political side. goal : 100 pages.

If I could interview a supporting character from this novel, I would interview Alexander Hamilton. Since he lived most of life as an orphan, I would ask how it felt to be placed into that position. I assume that he would respond saying that despite going through very rough times, he worked hard and got the position that he is currently in (in the novel).

She enlists the four to help work at her bakery for their community service hours. Overall, the book was really boring and lifeless. It was such an uninteresting read that I just feel as if my current reading slump got worse. 100 pages.

I read about a girl who runs a bakery in honor of her grandmother. She struggles to balance both college and running her bakery. Her bakery is constantly losing customers to a nearby rival bakery and is having trouble finding a way to keep her store open. When her father, a policeman, catches four juvenile boys in the act of vandalism and robbery, she sees this as a perfect opportunity to help her business.

I think this change is a good idea because it allows his true personality to show. It also makes more sense to have him gradually change his attitude around Thyme then to just suddenly change because of one event. Reading goal: 300 pages

If I were the author, I would definitely change the progression of Mr. Lipinsky's character. At first, he was very distant towards Thyme and then he suddenly became super nice towards her. I felt as if this character wasn't very strong. I would like to make the change for him to gradually warm up to her.

The exposition of this story helps introduce and layout the plot of this book. It starts out by talking about Alexandra's job at the preschool. It also talks about how Alexandra had a very confusing and complicated past. The exposition in this story allowed this story to work as a stand-alone one since it set the scene well.

I would really like to be the character Froggy. I would not want to be in his shoes but would love to have his personality and character traits. Froggy is a very humble and caring person. He is someone who anyone could trust and someone you could lean on. I find these traits to be desirable and the character to very lovable. I strive to become more like him. Goal : 250

This book is about a girl who is suing her parents for rights over her own body. Throughout her whole life, she has always been donating parts of her blood, organs and bone marrow for her sister who is diagnosed with leukemia. The trial and process of the main character suing her parents makes the novel a coming of age novel because the main character wants to know her position in life.

I recommend this book to people who have issues dealing with the pressure of their body image with others. This is because this novel is mainly about a girl who has trouble with the expectations with being a skinny girl. Next week's reading goal: 250 pages.

I've already finished this book and I didn't enjoy every aspect of it. I felt like the story was generally inspirational and gave me a feeling of encouragement to feel better about my personal image. I would give this story a 8.5/10 because although it is generally a pretty good book, I found that there were many parts of it that could be improved.

I cannot relate to the main character in this novel in many ways. The novel revolves around the character who has a father with cancer, rekindles a romance with an old spark, has an older brother and a younger sister and betrayed her friend. I do not share any of these things in comment with her.

The author's purpose in writing this book is mainly to entertain. This book is not trying to inform or persuade. The message the author is trying to send in the book is to try to feel empathy for people. If someone is hurt, don't blame them but try to help understand how that person is feeling and try to help them get over it. Goal : 250 pages
