First time reading. I need to read Riverside Chaucer soon. Large task, but this short poem that Chaucer authored for John of Gaunt’s wife’s death was quite enjoyable and I can understand why John as payment provided Chaucer with a £100 a year stipend for the rest of his life.

An enjoyable read. A fan of HM and believe she had a brilliant mind. Intriguing to imagine her solving mysteries.
