God damn this book is so much heavier than I thought it would be. The concept of death restoring people's photo albums as a little side job/distraction because he can clearly remember what each person looks like and what lives they've lived really struck me in the heart though

Just thought I'd start another book to break up all the Dungeon Crawler Carl I've been reading at the moment and in a matter of 30 pages I've already cried...so um...

The hour long reading session on the treadmill went hard but the heartbreak I experienced while reading this section hit so much harder.

I've started a new knitting project so my reading is going to slow down a heap. I want to keep reading this so bad at the same time though, if only the audiobooks weren't locked away on audible

Taking a moment to highlight my first grievance with this series, and that it if I see one more room being described as "a true safe room" I will actually lose it. It's been written WAY TO MANY TIMES, SAY IT SOME OTHER WAY GOD DAMN

Um guys, I'm starting to get worried about Carl's mental wellbeing. Everyone says that he starts getting really badass in this book but atm he's making a lot of very dangerous decisions. It was really nice having a tender moment between him and Donut though

I'm so exhausted that my eyes are burning so bad and I can hardly keep them open but I've been so invested in this part of the book that I couldn't stop reading for about 20 pages. I only just managed to reach a spot where I could force myself to stop, it's so good.

Wild start to the battle and an even wilder way to finish it. Also you know how in my last review I said I loved all the characters? Well I take it back. Loita is the worst. Mongo and his little pink, stuffed rabbit warmed my heart though

Never did I think I'd read a book where the AI has a very strong foot fetish and because there's so much going on at all times they like to sprinkle in reminders of that fact here and there just so I don't forget it too. If you're wondering what I'm talking about I have two words: Duct Tape
