3. I'd love to see an outsider's perspective of Carl. Obviously this is his interpretation of events and things feel okayish but people keep mentioning how "wild" his eyes look.

Oh I'm loving this level design so far. Also my favourite cover design of the series as well.
I'm still a little worried about my guy Carl but what can you do when your literally forced to participate in an intergalactic, fucked up, life or death game show? Why get given therapy when the people running the place can utilise your trauma for views?

Today I went on a whole rant to my art class teacher about "Everything was Beautiful and Nothing Hurts" and then mentioned how I'm in the middle of this series and she laughed and said "I find it funny that the first time I met you was in an assisted reading class."

I'm making up for lost years because imagine if I never read that epic battle that just happened wtf????

God damn this book is so much heavier than I thought it would be. The concept of death restoring people's photo albums as a little side job/distraction because he can clearly remember what each person looks like and what lives they've lived really struck me in the heart though

The hour long reading session on the treadmill went hard but the heartbreak I experienced while reading this section hit so much harder.
