Great food for thought, but it was self published and there were repeated quotes and passages throughout. Could have used a cleaner edit, though the message was clear. I stayed hooked. He mostly discusses why socialism/communism have never worked successfully in any country or time, despite current leanings toward it. Loved seeing references from Buckminster Fuller. 4.5 stars.

Still dark, but different (pacing wise) in comparison to her other offerings. A lot more background, family, and business dealings at the start. She def builds up to the heat between the leads! And that cliffhanger! Love! Looking forward to book 2.

The Crane Family showed a lot of heart in this one. It got more heavy and emotional than I expected due to Eli’s marine background and all the challenges related to it.

And don’t even get me started on the scene on the roof with Alex and Eli Crane. 😭 Loved that sincere display of male emotion. My favorite of the series.

5 stars. The best of crime fiction. I honestly did not know what would happen and who to trust. This one had twists and turns that left me truly satisfied at the end.
