hard to read allat once due to disjointed story telling, not jumping around, but each chapter feels like it’s own little story making it hard to move from one to the next

also the enemies to lovers are bonding over what is the equivalent of being obsessed with percy jackson books as a child

also time travel ?

harry potter expect mc is a deep undercover cop trying to take down al capone and the love interest is his son?

okay this is really good. first book i’ve read in fantasy in a long time that has a discernible plot and word building. WOO

hmmmm i think if i were reading this aloud id be having a lot more fun

i just wonder like, when you close your eyes and try to escape at night this is the world the author invented ? idk

i think this is one of those books where they’re trying to convince me the male lead is not evil but it’s not working so far

this is… a guilty pleasure book. so far it is certainly not awful but it is def not something I would recommend T-T

to give it some credit, it’s a lot less worse then i expected it to be

i’m not finishing this before i run out of library time. the audio book is so freaking good though

also- forgot to mention, this is suicide squad

very satirical and funny! the level of satire is similar to the house in the ceraln sea but i fear this is not a happy yay love book. this is a haha corruption is silly fantasy war book

okay i read the first couple chapters this book is FUNNY and i don’t expect it to be

dang. being a sailor really sucked huh.

i’m learning lots about ships. maybe too much. sometimes I am overwhelmed with knowledge. but that’s okay I am having fun. i’m listening to the audio book before my physical copy comes in and I think it would a lot easier to understand if I were reading and listening at the same time instead of only listening.

this is going to be a really quick read. but so far so good. there are pictures of floor plans and the author describes why the floor plans are weird and why they might have been built that way. the reasons are a little sinister. hoping the more I read the creeper it becomes!

so. listening to the audio book. very fucking sad. gives me a whole new level of depth that I wasn’t quite grasping reading it.

i’m stressed

did not realize the audio book would just be the play but it is making reading along 1000x more fun.

okay i still have the journalist but this book has taken a very sharp turn upwards for me. I really was not vibing with the beginning though.

i don’t know how to be truthful????? the main character says?????? they have so far demonstrated that they only say what is exactly on their mind? BIG SAY WITH NO SHOW.
