Thank god I finally have a winner on my hands. There's such comfort in a Balogh.

I've never been more excited for the concept of a book and more bored by the execution of the same book.

I'm determined to finish, but at what personal cost?

This is honestly one of the worst books I've read. Am I going to make it to the end?

Did I pick up this book knowing I wasn't going to think it was GOOD but would be entertained? Sure. But I was wrong. I'm so gd bored I want to cry.

How is a poly, queer, omegaverse hockey romance this dull? Where's the spark? Where's the feeling? Where's the je ne sais quoi?

I'm gonna be completely honest, I'm at 52%, and I don't think I've read another book that made me feel quite so deeply that the relationship is very, very, very, very wrong. Not even Lessons in Sin or Flowers in the Attic. Something about the dynamic between these two is deeply upsetting, especially in the chapters from his POV.
