It's been a year. Please excuse me today while I blow up your feed with all the books I've read. Life....

Life has been crazy for the last month. I survived teaching this year. My daughter graduated high school. Dance recital. Then a pipe bust in my house so we spend 2 weeks at my parents. I taught Science camp. Just when I think I'll get to post books I've read, my daughter scratches her cornea.

I think life is calm now, so be prepared to have your feed "spammed" by me and all the books I've read in the last month.

Does it aggravate anyone else when you've gotten and read all of a series on NetGalley, and then the author/publisher decides to not put the last book on there? Donna Grant....it maybe a while before I read Inferno especially when it's $7.99 cause to me that's a little high for an e-book.

Sorry friends that I've been a little quiet this summer. I went back to school this summer to get my Master's degree, and it's eating up all my extra-curricular reading time with boring school books. So sad. Then this week I had to go back to work cause school starts on Wednesday, and I had to get my classroom ready for my lovely little four year olds.

OH MY Goodness!! You take your children on vacation for spring break, and there's this crazy mouse with an amusement park taking all your time. Maybe I'll get a book read tonight after unpacking the car, laundry....

I'm going through book withdrawals, but when your home air conditioner dies and you have to live on a friends couch for days....It's been an adventure. New unit going in today. WOOHOO!!

My lovely books, I'm sorry I ignored you on this first day of spring break, but now that the grass is cut and my house is clean I'm all yours for the next nine days...when my children don't need me.

I love having a day off. Read two books already...maybe I can squeeze in one more after my nephew's soccer game.

What do y'all do when someone comments on a book you've reviewed? I rated a book 3.5 stars which I marked at 4 since Goodreads doesn't do half-sies. A person read my review and fussed at me because I said I was lost (it was book 8 in the series and I hadn't read the first 7). I start series in the middle all the time and most of the time authors fill in the gaps and I'm not lost. I'm just a little erked right now.

How did I miss the release date of this? Guess I'll be missing some sleep tonight

woohoo!! Thanksgiving break. Here's to being thankful for a week with no school, staying up late reading and then sleeping in.

Oh my word!!! I did it again. Came to the beach and left my Kindle at home. Next time I need to pack it first.

Pre-planning done and all the little loveys come back to school today. Maybe I'll get to read a book tonight instead of sorting, laminating, cutting, stapling. I think I'm having withdrawal symptoms from lack of Kindle usage.

This better be good. One because I love the first part, and two because I broke my cardinal rule and paid more than 2.99 for an e-book.

School supplies all bought and every pencil, crayon, marker, folder labeled with children's names. WWWWHHHHEEEE!!!
