Book 3 just released so I'm catching up. I've enjoyed the complicated plot and multi pov, but sometimes I've felt lost.

Engaging mystery about why our "hero" has come home and what he's come home to is creepy.

Hilarity and entertainment in spades, and I'm only halfway through?

I'm enjoying the back from war and building a new crew premise. The characters are keeping me interested and the world is expanding by the chapter.

The power progression is quicker than I prefer, but I think we are almost out of the training ground portion. Good job summarizing though.

Love the characterization across the board, but especially Felix as the guy who made a mistake but keeps his oath and Gotrek the courting death Trollslayer. King is an exceptional writer, but I am really making notes on his pacing and where he summarized action so it isn’t overbearing.

May not finish. Since 50% have lost most of my interest in story.

Dnf formatting is terrible, didn’t care about mc after first couple chapters

Dnf after the “she swallows” scene. What’s the point, guys? So it’s not harem but you still had to tell us what happened to his cum.

Nice balance on the reality of fear and violence in war while also keeping the book more of an optimistic adventure than a dark fantasy.

for a non-steampunk reader, this has been an eye opener to the appealing aspects of this genre. Del Arroz is a talented author, and this story is as easy to engage with as I'd hoped. More airship and canooneers or however you spell that.

after enjoying Bunker's work in Time Looter, I decided to check back in on this one, which I stopped after part one, but let enough time go by that I forgot the characters. I've refreshed my memory and am heading forward.

Lots going on in this, and while it is good, it hasn't met the expectation built from the love I've heard from others.

Solid zombie story.

I'm fairly certain at 81% in that nothing could change this from a 5 star read. I share this quote, which won't spoil anything, but marks a point where I laughed and thought, wow, Nick Cole, what crazy twist and comical character quirk will you think of next? The last ten percent have been masterful in both character and unsuspecting plotting--not unlike the rest of the book.

Touching and hilarious scene. One of countless.

Incredible how he easily describes how we experience the mundane of traffic or how a city is celebrating its Mexican heritage. We see the heart of a man after his dreams, a man content to drive taxis all day praying for people, another who is buying food for his son before dropping him off at college and cries when he realizes he won't get to make their breakfast again. Addicting in an I want to feel kind of way

Great mystery so far. I can't believe it's only halfway through. For fans of nationwide manhunts to catch killers this is a fantastic series to get hooked on.

I'm glad I picked this up, especially in audiobook. I'm more and more a fan of both C.T. and the narrator. I can't wait to see how this ends.

Keep it coming. Very entertaining

Audiobook version from Podium. I'm nearly done with Quarter Share. The new guy is growing on me, even if I am confident Nathan is the best voice for this story. The story is such a huge reason for my enjoyment, so I'm still glad Nathan has chosen more stories over narrating these.
