I have been reading a book pretty much every 24 hours. Initially when I read the other S.M. Reine books, I really wasn't interested in Riely's story. Happy that I waited, much better than I expected. I still haven't learned anything new, but it's still entertaining.

I have to say I'm a little disappointed. Instead of a love triangle, U get one big mess. Reed is her aspire, Xavier is her guardian angel (& love in heaven), Russell is her soul mate, Emile is her evil soulmate (the word escapes me at this point), and then there's Brennas. Russel has an aspire, and Evie has made a deal with heaven that she can't remember. confusing

do I need to read "Iced" (Karen Marie Moning) in order to enjoy "Burned"? I have not been a fan of Danie, and hadn't wanted to read it, but don't want to feel like I missed something. Thoughts???

Forgot how much of a duche Levi was. He came across as an egotistical A$$ from her pov, it's worse when u hear what he's thinking

a friend last fall gave me websites with free books, she created a monster (well it was already here....but she helped it)...and I love her for it!!!! Won't have to worry about what to read for a while. :)

This is actually a 6 book collection(full stories)from different authors.Sacrificed in shadow happens to be the first one.This is a great first book,and I'm veering away from the rest of this particular book to continue her ascension series.She has a few other series out that have the same characters@diff times in their lives,so hopefully I'm not ruining anything by accidentally reading them out of order.

so I've decided to start reading from the beginning, since I don't remember any of what I did read.

80% thru It's defiantly getting better, but I don't like the introduction of additional characters towards the end of the story

This book was suggested to me from a co-worker, whom I share the same reading taste. She has been raving about it for weeks. She says it's better than the soverign of the 7 isles, but not as good as GOT's. (I don't think I can find anything THAT good). So far I don't think it's that great. It reads slow to me. Maybe I'm just not in the mood to read it, but will continue.

Just about 1/2 way through. Not loving the new twist, reminds me of rapture. So far it's moving slow for me. I don't remember if the other 3 are written with each chapter alternating between Russell & Evie.

17% read-I will say that if this book wasn't free on my e-book, I wouldn't have continued to read this.

ok, so first impressions (which may or may not be fair), so far this story reminds me of Aria from GOT, ya know the girl who wants to be one of the boys, while her sister would be happy being the lovely little wife.

I really like the suggestion that Russell did something to Evie,and that is why she has chosen Reed this time.It makes me think that Russell isn't as great as he seems to present.

I like how smart Evie can be, but get so frustrated with the dumb things that she does that seems to mess things up.I feel like saying why can't she just leave well enough alone.Now she is siding w/Brennus.Not sure if she is just biding her time.

recommend "The Paradoxcical Commandments" by Kent M. Keith (p.90)

slow reading. I'm taking my time to read chapters, and think about each one seprately from the others. so far it has been helpful, and find that my fd has used some of these strategies.

I bought a 4 pack of books on kindle. I am done with book 1 as of 3/12/12. I really liked the book except for the end where it got to be less real, and more fanasty. The whole book was believable until the dragons hatched. I do like how the author isn't afraid to kill off main characters.

still struggling to get through this book. I'm trying to do the things she says in each chapter. Not doing well with that, but feeling good. There's always something else I would rather read.

liking it so far....very helpful for me. It's giving me some direction that I have been looking for.

just starting...I'm interested in seeing how this "prequel" evolves into the main characters we know in the "city of" series.

just started last night @ work, wasn't able to read as much as i would've liked. Wish she would make up her mind!!!! Not loving the cast chosen for the movie.
